Azura chanced upon Fashion Blogger “Paige Friedrichs” of Front Paige Blog and collaborated with her for an up-close and personal interview. She let us in on what sparked her interest to take up fashion and lifestyle blogging.
Paige grew up in the suburbs, currently lives in Chicago, Illinois and attends Loyola University Chicago. Aside, from being a full-time student, she confesses to be an ice-cream addict, a self-proclaimed retail therapist and sparkle enthusiast.
She always had a penchant for the world of fashion and began sewing in her High School Days, She recalls instantly falling in love with sewing and how a design turned into reality to be a proper wearable garment.
When she entered college, she thought it was time to start her own lifestyle and fashion blog “Front Paige.” She uses it as a creative outlet for articulating her thoughts, her life experiences and share her opinions on certain trends and outfit ideas.
She plans to take up a job in the fashion industry after she completes her studies, while still evolving her personal brand through Front Paige.
Azura: What made you decide to start blogging?
Paige: Ever since I was a young girl, I’ve had a fascination with styling outfits. My wardrobe is my artist’s palette that I use to express my individuality and emotions. Blogging is an outlet for me to showcase how much I adore styling and fashion!
Azura: What are some of your current fashion obsessions?
Paige: I’m a sucker for a fabulous pair of comfortable leather booties! Recently I’ve been pairing them with shorts or a miniskirt for an edgier look while trying to keep cool this summer. I also carry around an oversized fringe hobo bag wherever I go filled with lipstick and blush… I’m like a walking makeup store!

Azura: What is one thing your readers would be surprised to hear?
Paige: I think my readers would be surprised to discover that I absolutely love to sew and create my own clothes. I even designed a seven-piece collection for my high school fashion show! Sewing is a serious passion of mine which I plan on pursuing in the future!
Azura: The greatest life advice you’ve ever received?
Paige: I’ve posted about this on my blog previously, but I think it’s critical never to compare yourself to others. Everyone is unique and individuality is what makes us so special. How boring would life be if we all thought and looked the same? It’s so important to be yourself and respectfully voice your opinion regardless of what others think.

Azura: What fashion tips would you like to give to our Azura babes?
Paige: My best piece of fashion advice is to invest in clothes and accessories that make you feel confident. When you find an outfit that you feel great in, you are unstoppable!
